FAQs

How much is this going to cost me?

We understand that cost can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to make mental health care accessible. At Heart Line Counseling, we proudly accept Medicaid and most private insurances. For those without insurance or with limited coverage, we offer sliding scale programs, self-pay arrangements, and flexible payment plans.

Insurance coverage varies, but we’ll work closely with you to navigate your options and minimize financial barriers—because your mental health is worth it. Give us a call, and our team will be happy to check if we accept your insurance and discuss the best plan for your care.

How long is the waitlist for me to be seen?

Great news—right now, we don’t have a waitlist (wow!). That means we can begin the process of getting you scheduled right away. Keep in mind that the paperwork and enrollment phase can take up to two weeks.

To avoid any delays, be sure to complete all necessary paperwork and provide us with the required information promptly. This helps ensure a smooth process so you can start your journey to better mental health as soon as possible!

Is therapy confidential?

Absolutely. Your privacy is our top priority. All information you share with us, including during the enrollment process, is strictly confidential and protected under federal and state laws, including HIPAA.

We will never disclose your information without your written consent, except in rare cases where it’s required by law, such as safety concerns. Your trust is essential to us, and we are committed to creating a safe and secure space for your mental health journey.

If you have any questions or concerns about confidentiality, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to explain our privacy practices in detail.

Let us help you find care that's right for you.
